June 2019 - Present

Currently producing weekly segments for the national news program CBS Saturday Morning with Saturday co-anchor Jeff Glor.

Director and Producer, Netflix “Rotten” 

August 2018 - June 2019

Produced and directed two one-hour episodes for the Netflix original series Rotten. The program investigates the darker side of the food supply chain that shapes what we eat and drink. Topics included multinational corporate malfeasance in Nigeria and the black market for cannabis edibles in Amsterdam.

 

Senior Producer, National Geographic Explorer                              

January 2017 - July 2018

Directed and produced international and domestic programming for a hosted TV news magazine airing on the National Geographic Television Network. Traveled to over a dozen countries and reported on a wide range of subjects. Stories included a 3-continent investigation into the international market for opiates, alleged sonic attacks in Cuba, the business of drug rehab in Florida, the race to save chocolate in Ecuador and talking whales. Responsible for reporting, directing and producing as well as story development and day-to-day oversight of associate producers, field producers, researchers, and crews.

 

Coordinating Producer, New York Times Video                   

January 2016 - December 2016

Managed a team of digital journalists in a fast-paced newsroom producing web content and videos for the nytimes.com producing longform reports and short social media content, domestic and international. Developed and produced programming for Facebook Live, VR platforms. YouTube and Nytimes.com. Additional duties included writing, shooting, editing, and all other aspects of production.

 

Investigative Producer, CBS Evening News                         

September 2013 – January 2016

Developed and produced investigative and breaking news programming for a daily news broadcast. Led network’s coverage of the GM ignition switch and the Takata airbag recalls. Traveled extensively throughout the US for breaking coverage of major events, including booking interviews, managing live shots, and field producing segments.

 

Co-Producer CBS News 60 Minutes                                                 

June 2008 – August 2013

Developed, field produced and post-produced over 30 reports for the oldest and most respected news magazine on television. Subject matter included investigative reports, breaking news and newsmaker profiles. Reported from Afghanistan, Israel, Uganda, Kenya, Russia, Japan and many locations across the US on a wide variety of topics from the economy to natural disasters, politics and newsmaker profiles. Won multiple awards for reporting on the housing crisis and Great Recession.

April 2006 – May 2008

Produced and assisted in the production of breaking news and long form investigative programming for a nightly cable news program. Duties include, leading investigations, field producing, research, writing and all other aspects of production.
